I worked with kids living in a group home setting. I saw them come and go, living out of garbage bags. I had a limited role but wanted so much for them. I tried to show them love even if it was just an epic Sunday breakfast made with love. This is song is about the promise of these darlings and the incredible odds they are up against. They are my children from another mother.
